Q: How many stations do i need for my restaurant?
A:
The number varies on your restaurant. A typical dine-in restaurant will have a bar station, and various other stations placed in locations that offer convenient access to its servers and managers. Depending on the size of the restaurant, it could have just one cashier station or even 100 stations. The average dine-in restaurant has 4-7 stations.

Q: Do I have to have an office computer to run the network?
A:
You do not HAVE to use a central office computer. However, your network will run smoother if you do have an office computer apart from the terminals to be your workhorse. Furthemore, report printing, faxes, and so forth will be much easier to perform at an office desktop than on a POS terminal computer.

Q: Can I use the computer that I have now as the office computer?
A:
This computer will be a workhorse. If it meets all the minimum specification requirements, you can use your computer as the office computer.

A:
We do offer credit as a trade in of some POS systems. The credit value on your trade in varies and depends on the system that you are currently using.

Q: Will you sell me the equipment and let me set up my own POS system?
A:
We are not a POS equipment warehouse. We can sell you the equipment, but will not offer any technical support or services on a system that we did not install. You will still get the product warranties and manufacturer support if applicable.

Q Will you sell me the surveillance system and let me set it up myself?
A:
Depending on which state you live in, you will have to sign a waiver releasing A & A POS Solutions of all liabilities as defined by your sate's Department of Justice.

Q: How long does it take to install a POS system and start using it?
A:

Additional businesses using same menu or inventory are simply uploaded to the POS system database. We spend one day training staff and employees. You can go "live" as soon as you feel your staff is ready. This can be anywhere from 1 day to 1 month depending on the learning capabilities of your staff.
